Type one diabetes

Type 2 diabetes mellitus

Gestational diabetes

Now we are going to talk about all the 3 types of diabetes.

Type 1 diabetes mellitus:

Type 1 diabetes mellitus is as well known as Juvenile diabetes, Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus or Autoimmune diabetes mellitus. Someone with type one diabetes mellitus experiences immune response against his own beta cells of pancreas, thus pancreas is unable to develop insulin at-all. This is why it is named as autoimmune diabetes mellitus. Juvenile diabetes mellitus usually happens in children however can happen at any age. To live regular life patient needs to get insulin and have regular exercise and takes proper diet plan. The main reason of the type 1 diabetes mellitus are environmental factors like virus, diet or chemicals in individuals genetically predisposed. In the US 10-15% diagnosed cases of diabetes mellitus contains of type one diabetes. Signs of type one diabetes are frequent urination, extreme thirst, increase hunger and weight loss. Eyes might as well be affected as blurred sight. The one suffer type one diabetes mellitus must be diagnosed earlier, or it will result to a serious medical condition like diabetic Coma with kitoacidosis.

Type 2 diabetes:

Type 2 diabetes mellitus is also called as Non Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus or Adult-onset diabetes. This is the most common type of diabetes mellitus impacting about 80% of all cases of diabetes. This is normally seen in adults. There are 2 mechanisms of type two diabetes mellitus. Either there is lack of insulin, or there is increase resistance of insulin. Resistance of insulin means the body is unable to utilize available insulin. The major reason of this type of diabetes is genetical however other factors like overweight, high blood pressure, insufficient workout, eating habits may also affect. About 80% of people with type 2 diabetes mellitus are obese. Symptoms of type 2 diabetes mellitus in-contrast to type 1 develop very slowly. It may be fatigue, weight loss, increase urination, blurred vision or delay of injury healing. This type of diabetes mellitus is handled with workout, diet plan, and medicines. But afterwards, you may need insulin injections as well.

Gestational diabetes:

Some mothers who develop diabetes during later weeks of pregnancy is called as Gestational diabetes mellitus. Though their glucose levels stays to normal but even then these women have bigger chances of getting diabetes within the next 5 to 10 years. Women with gestational diabetes mellitus may have no signs at all. The reason of gestational diabetes can be hormone imbalance during pregnancy or insufficient Insulin. Child of mothers who have gestational diabetes mellitus is as well at high risk of having diabetes mellitus in later life. Maintaining healthy weight and doing exercises may help prevent development of type two diabetes in a gestational diabetes patient.

Human usually needs the right amount of glucose to be available in the body if the body is to be able to work normally and it is a very urgent carbohydrate that aids in giving to the body enough energy to survive, and more. Glucose along with insulin are important to producing of glucose transporters inside the body, and any disturbance to the level of glucose available in the body results in inadequate production of insulin and thus a situation known as diabetes develops within the body.

Type 1 diabetes is that form of diabetes in which the body’s pancreas ceases to create insulin altogether and this condition is very common amongst teens and even in children. This is why, the condition is also sometimes called as being juvenile diabetes that mercifully is a condition that actually can be managed as well as controlled, when compared to the other form of diabetes known as type 2 diabetes.

However, Diabetes type 1 is still a serious condition, which needs to be handled very carefully because if such a condition (as with any other form of diabetes) is left untreated, it can seriously affect the health of the patient and thus needs the careful management of diet and also lifestyle.

For any persons in whose family there is a known history of diabetes ailments, the possibility of developing type 1 diabetes is greater, which means always having to stay alert about the signs as well as symptoms of type 1 diabetes, which should be trapped at as early a stage as is possible. It means getting the proper tests performed so that there is enough information available about the chance of it developing in the patient. In any case, there is a lot of information available even otherwise.

The noticeable early signs of type 1 diabetes include frequent urination, great hunger, insatiable thirst, weight loss for no apparent reason, weakness as well as malaise and also blurry vision, and finally, irritableness. If a person sees any of those symptoms, she or he should ask a physician at the soonest because type 1 diabetes is known to result other complications if not treated in time.

Some of the other complications that can happen when diabetes type 1 is left untreated include heart problems, kidney damage, stroke, as well as blurred vision that can even lead into blindness. Furthermore, when the pancreas stop to create insulin in type 1 diabetes patient, there is need for the condition to be treated through insulin intake into the body with the help of the twenty different types of products available that provide such insulin to the patient.

Different type of insulin products can be used for different condition as also lifestyles, and it will also depend on the patient’s blood sugar level and the way that insulin will make effect and also the peak times when there is need for insulin, and also the duration for when the insulin will be effective in the patient’s body. Thus, timely action can really help in controlling the condition, and also prevent future complications from arising.
